Monkey Joe's opens the doors exclusively for our families once a month on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 until 10 am. You may stay after they open to themonkey_joes public at 10:00. Parents get a chance to meet other parents, siblings have an opportunity to meet other sibs in a fun environment and kids on the spectrum can safely bounce, jump, slide, and have fun.

December 5, January 2, February 6, March 6, April 2, May 7.


Parent Support Group Meetings
 


Are you interested in talking with other parents who have children on the spectrum? Once a month, parents have the opportunity to get together in a relaxed, informal atmosphere to talk about everything from their personal experiences to available resources and general education about autism.
The ASFV Parent Support Group will meet on the first Sunday of each month from 6-8pm at 211 E. Franklin Street, Appleton, WI  54911.  Free parking is available in the adjacent lot and our meetings will be held in the 1st floor board room space.  The exterior doors will remain locked for safety purposes, but a doorbell is available for entry. Hangin' Til Ten Social Group

Teen Social Group

If you have a teen who would like to meet new people on the spectrum please RSVP to the outing information below. It is one of the most popular outings and very well attended. To be added to the email list for these events contact: [email protected]

 

 

Twenty Something Social Group

A Social Networking Group for Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders

If you are an adult in your 20’s AND want to get out and get social……this group is for you. . More events are being planned. If you are interested in participating in a Social Network Group for young adults between the ages of 19-29.
PLEASE pass this information on to any young adult with ASD that you think may
be interested in expanding their social contacts.
